Additional Budget Requests
Hello,
When requesing additional funds, (BSWD and CSG-DSE) the Ministry requires an estimate of how many applications and how much funding per application. However, we may not have that information yet, as we do not yet have the applications submitted. For example if the Winter 2024 applications have not yet been submitted, let alone the Spring/Summer 2024 applications but we know we have no more funding left, I am unsure what to provide. I have based the additional funding request off of predicted funding required on a prior year, that is more in line with the current year. We do not want to start off with no funding or to run out of funding early on in the upcoming winter semester and do not want to make multiple requests to the Ministry.
I know this is way late in responding but all I can do is use either current intormation along with past information to send to justify my request. I have not had to ask before March before so usually I have quite a bit of info for Winter. So I try to look back at the last years and see how many pending winter I currently have and historically for Summer to ask for additional funds.
