StudentAid BC Disruption in Service Delivery

Dear Post-Secondary Institution Partners,

Due to a labor dispute, the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills, StudentAid BC is currently experiencing a disruption in service delivery, which is impacting our ability to respond to our clients. We are closely monitoring ongoing negotiations and remain committed to keeping you informed of any potential impacts to service. It is unknown when normal response times will resume.

Currently, our processing timelines are approximately 8 to 9 weeks and could increase depending on the length of the dispute.

Our Tier 1 call center continues to be available to answer general questions.

The Tier 2 student support line and BC publics support line are not available at this time.

We will provide updates as we receive further information.

Thank you for your patience while we work to resume service delivery standards.

A notice about the service delivery disruption is also posted on their website (https://studentaidbc.ca/sabc-home-page).

As administrators and student advocates, please be advised that the Tier 2 Support Line (FAO line) is not available at this time.
