Supports for Iranian students
Hello everyone,
I am scheduled to meet with senior leadership on Friday to discuss potential supports for Iranian students and am interested in learning about approaches being taken by other institutions across the province.
If your institution has implemented any specific measures to support Iranian students, or more broadly students affected by conflict, war, or natural disasters in their home countries, I would be grateful if you could share any relevant information or examples of your current practices.

Just a quick follow up to add that we're not allowing for fees to be deferred indefinitely - impacted students have until December 11th to pay off current and prior term balances in order to continue studies. Also noting that students won't be allowed to start the fall term if they aren't able to pay at least a 10% deposit on fees (calculated based on fall fees plus any balance carried forward from 2025-2026).
