Addition of dependent - married student
Hello, looking at the manual page 47 and having a hard time understanding.
From the manual: If a student with a sole support parent or married student status adds a dependent child during the study period, you may add the dependant as of the effective date (for example, birthdate of the child, date the custody order or Kinship Service arrangement is in effect, etc.)
In this case the student is married but has no children yet, this will be their first child (expected to be born at the end of November 2023).
My understanding is that the student will need to apply as married with no dependents until Dec and then a new app for Winter semester as married with dependent because even though she is married in both the addition of the first dependent is still a status change.
