Dates and Signature Sheets
Good morning (again .... )
we are reviewing all of our processing information so our FAA's are all on the same page. Question came up about processing signature pages (for students/parent/spouse) and we can't find anything in the manuals.
If when processing signature sheets the signatures are good (within the allowed parameters) but there is no date entered... would you still confirm the signature sheets or deny and ask student etc to resubmit?

Legally though, they are signing into a program and the date and signature are necessary as compliance. If something were missing, that would be challenging in court. The creation date matters because a document cannot be signed before it exists. If the form became available on June 26th, but I am signing as June 24th, that date is incorrect because the form itself did not exist on June 24th. The sign date has to be relative to when the document came into existence.
