PeopleSoft Schools: Academic Record Q

I have a question for the PeopleSoft schools! At TMU, our academic record only goes up to year 4. So if a student continues their studies into year 5, year 6, year 7 (as they are allowed to do, based on timespan), the record will still read as year 4.
We have to manually calculate students in this regard, and it's a huge pain in the butt. I'm wondering if this is a TMU specific thing, or a PeopleSoft thing. If you are a PeopleSoft school, does your academic record also cap at year 4? Have any workarounds? Please help lol.

We are not a PeopleSoft school but we run into the same issue with Colleague. It kicks out our error report and we end up just batch "pushing" those students through at COE time. Definitely a pain in the butt and I'm not sure the answer. Since the degree programs are technically only 3 or 4 years in total, I'm not sure there is a workaround in our system to change the 'level'. It would probably kick out an error even if it said 5, 6, 7 but OSAP cost code said ENGL4 (for example)
