We're receiving a number of requests from students asking for some kind of letter or proof to show they are NOT receiving OSAP or have never received sometimes combined with a confirmation that they are NOT a student. It seems to be coming from organizations such as daycares or ODSP. We're responding that they can provide a history of their applications through the OSAP portal, a history of funding through their NSLSC account and if they have never received, then a credit report would show there is no open student loan accounts. We checked with our OSAP program administrator and they confirmed there no other process than this but just wanted to see how others are handling.
