Does Your DSO Loan Equipment?

Happy Tuesday! I hope you're keeping well.
TMU's Disability Office is toying with the idea of loaning out (often costly) equipment to students on a temporary basis. I am not yet sure what specific equipment they are toying with, but I imagine it is related to maybe dictation devices, special keyboards, etc. I am curious if other schools do the same? If yes, how do you put a stipulation that if a student fails to return the item on loan, their grades may be withheld or a cost may be added to their student account?
