MRE Review for Living Costs?
Hi colleagues,
Has anyone else done a review for a married student maintaining two residences this year? I can't recall having issues before, but when I select the MRE and a value of zero, there is no change to the assessment at all. Shouldn't it add several thousand dollars to the value in the living cost line? Per the manual -
Do the following:
• Use Review Code: MRE – (Married Student – Cost of Second Residence)
• The MRE Review Code and a value of $0 will cause the student to be reassessed with a standard amount of additional living costs (that is, $166.05 per week provincially and $233.02 per week federally, which are the shelter allowances for a single student living away from home).

Okay, I see now! It adds costs as a REVIEWS line item at the bottom of the calculation chart, not in the Living Costs line. 🙄
