Seasonal Employment EI for Spouse
I asked a related question in 2021, but today I'm wondering if it's worth asking for a change to the wording of the question in the app - Item 955 "Does your spouse expect to receive social assistance or income support from any of the following programs during your 2024-25 study period?"
If spouse is in a seasonal employment cycle and gets EI every winter, then as of study period start they "expect" to get EI during the study period. If the student indicates "yes", they have to provide supdocs of the EI support, which they don't have until winter.
I don't have a suggestion for better wording at this time, but feel like this is a minor inconvenience for all.
